There have been recent address changes to accommodate the
implementation of Enhanced 911. Many of you have received letters
from the US Postal Service asking you to start using your new 911
address for mailing purposes. We are updating your mailing address to
match the green 911 address sign that was placed in front of your
residence. In the event of an emergency, this same address
information is sent to the 911 dispatch center at the Michigan State
Police Post in Negaunee so emergency responders can be dispatched to
the correct location. Please call our business office at 884-9911 or

Your neighbor has a green 911 address marker and you do NOT

have the capability to include a brief statement to 911 dispatch that
alerts them of an existing condition or situation such as ‘In
Wheelchair’, ‘Deaf’, or ‘Beware of Dog’. If you would like to add a
short statement that would be helpful in an emergency situation,
please contact our office.
